Bosch Dishwasher Error Code E15 - Watertap Fix

Описание к видео Bosch Dishwasher Error Code E15 - Watertap Fix

This is a Bosch Dishwasher model # SHE68T55UC/03, manufactured in 2014. We came home one day to find error code E15 and "watertap" flashing on the display, despite the dishwasher being off and the door cracked open for several hours. The drain pump would run for about 30 seconds and then shut off, and this would keep repeating -- even when the door is open. Here, the culprit ended up being a leaking water inlet valve (or "valve access" as Bosch calls it), although I replaced several other parts preventatively.

This video walks through the disassembly of the dishwasher, the replacement of the water inlet valve, sump, drain pump, sealing, and a sensor/o-ring. The dishwasher now works like a champ.

The dishwasher is 8 years old at the time of this video, and given the current supply chain issues it is difficult to find a replacement dishwasher. However, I was able to buy parts online from Bosch, which shipped directly to me in about a week. I decided to repair the dishwasher myself so hopefully we can get several more years out of it. Total cost in parts used in this video is about $130, which is only a fraction of the cost of a new dishwasher.
