I was very lucky to have seen Michel for the first time at
the Village Vanguard in about 1984.
It was a stunning experience from the moment he was carried like a little baby on to the stage. For years I have listened and enjoyed
his music.
This particular record I have listened to countless times,
and thought it was time to have a closer look at some of the tunes.
On this blues called Jean-Philippe Herbien Michel plays
20 blistering choruses! Taken from the album 'Conférence De Presse ' Eddy Louiss & Michel Petrucciani .
I have just roughly notated the basic Blues chords as a reference.
