I am a strong fan of HEPA filters. We already have two in our house. HEPA filters do an amazing job of dealing with pollen, cat fur, and a variety of other issues that can cause trouble for breathing and help. The HEPA filter in my bedroom is fairly loud but I love that - it generates white noise that helps me sleep.

I have for a while wanted a HEPA filter unit specifically for my office. However, I really like it to be quiet when I work. I already have a fish tank in my office that I want to move because the burbling bothers me sometimes.

I am thrilled with this HEPA unit. It is small and easy to put in the right spot in my office. Also, on the low setting, it is so quiet I can't hear it at all over the fish tank. I have a feeling even when I move the fish tank out of here that I won't be able to really hear the HEPA unit. It is wholly innocuous in that sense.

I can tell when it's running. It's easier to breathe. It makes quite a difference.

Well recommended for small rooms and spaces where you need to get your air better able to breathe.

Note that it DOES have a power light on it. So people who need "absolute darkness" - there is a light! You'll want to tape over that with something.
