Armeg EBS Tri-Cut (Electrical Box Sinker)

The original EBS square hole drilling system now includes the Tri-Cut round cutter for maximum performance in hard materials.

Manufactured in Sheffield by Armeg Ltd, the UK's leading manufacturer of innovative drilling and tool solutions, the distinctively red coloured Tri-Cut first creates a 78mm diameter flat back hole (The flat back nature of the hole resulting in minimum movement of the back box).

Dependent on the material being drilled, either the Armeg Square Cutter or Armeg Hard Material chisel (as shown in the video) can be used to chisel out the 4 corners. Leaving users with a neat, prescicion square hole for switch and socket boxes.

In this demonstration, the Tri-Cut was drilling Class A engineering brick and took approximately 2 minutes to reach a 25mm depth.
