This week, Star Trek Starfleet Academy released what is probably the final trailer for the show that premieres on January 15, 2026.

Starfleet Academy takes place in the 32nd Century, teh same time as Discovery, after being closed for over hundred years, Starfleet Academy re-opens witha new class of young students eager to engage in teen angst and explore their inner feelings. Just like Star Trek as always done.

Given the past history of Star Trek produced by Alex Kurtzman's Secret Hideout, I have very low expectations for this show. And, I'm begining to wonder if the showrunners do as well since this trailer is all about ke-jangling and 'member- erries.
