I once gave up art because of an art teacher ˚☽˚ My experience with impostor syndrome

I once let others' words steer me away from my childhood dream of becoming an artist and illustrator. I gave up on it because I was told I'd never make it, I didn't have enough talent.

Though I still regret not standing up for myself back then, I’ve decided not to let those hurtful experiences define my future.

I wanted to share my struggle with impostor syndrome, feeling out of place, and the fear of not being good or legitimate enough to call myself an artist. The journey to building my art career is an ongoing learning experience, but today, I feel more motivated and secure in my path.
