Light Tackle Fishing for Big Blitzing Striped Bass on the Chesapeake Bay (Countless Double Ups!)

This is one of those legendary days on the water that I wish I could relive over and over again, but I suppose that would make it less special. Cody and I chase birds, and use the finder to consistently locate and hook up with big schooling Rockfish feeding heavily on bunker. Conditions: Overcast with negligible winds
Air Temp: 60 - 65 degrees F
Water Temp: 59 - 61 degrees F
Wind: Negligible
Gear: 7' Medium spinning gear for casting
7' or 6'6" Medium and Medium/Heavy casting gear for jigging
Tackle: 3/8 - 3/4 oz jigs with 5 -7" paddle tail swimbaits for casting
3/4, 1, 1.5 oz jigs with 7" straight tail swimbaits for jigging (contrasting colors was key [whites, pinks, chartreuse])
