Hardware-wise, this is pretty close to my current live set-up. The Octatrack is acting as the master clock & midi sequencer, whilst the Digitakt is being used exclusively for drum patterns. Bass sounds are coming from the versatile, Dreadbox Nymphes, in unison mode this little guy sounds pretty huge. The MicroFreak provides the main melody & the Korg Prologue is being used for the modulated pad sound. I have the midi CC value for the LFO rate mapped to the Octatrack's midi sequencer, which allows me to get that hypnotic, tempo-synced, modulation.
