Extinction Rebellion climate activists rallied through the center of Berlin on Thursday demanding social and climate justice.

Footage shows protesters marching through the city center towards the iconic Brandenburger Tor wearing masks of different political leaders and millionaires. On Wednesday, activists set up a protest camp in Invaliden Park, in front of the Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action, urging other environmentalist groups to join.

According to media reports, activists called for a weeklong protests to combat the energy and environmental crisis, and to draw attention to biodiversity and food supply security, as they believe that "climate targets are being missed and fair change is being blocked".
