Internal controls are the processes and procedures that businesses create to protect their assets and ensure their financial information is accurately represented. In this short video explore some of the more common internal controls and how they could be implemented to protect a company.

This video was created in relation to the Utah State CTE standards for the Accounting I High School course. Specifically, this video prepares students to complete Strand 7, Standard 1: Explain the three elements of the fraud triangle and their relation to internal controls.
