🎵 Willan - Introduction, Passacaglia and Fugue // Truro Cathedral

Richard McVeigh plays Healey Willan's 'Introduction, Passacaglia and Fugue in E flat minor Op. 149' on the organ of Truro Cathedral, performed during a live organ recital on 30th June 2023.

This is my favourite organ piece! It's often known as the IPF (it's less of a mouth full, right?) and was written in 1916 - just 3 years after moving to Toronto (Canada) from London (UK).

This piece definitely works with the help of a generous acoustic!
