Home Brew is a very usable package manager for Mac. It allows you to install many useful tools via command-line.

In this video, I show how you can install home brew for both Intel and M1 machines. However, home brew support for M1 architecture (arm64) is not production ready so I have shown how to install home brew for both x86 (a.k.a Intel) and M1 (arm64) on the same M1 Mac mini. If you have a M1 MacBook Pro or Air, same approach applies.
