Composed by harpist Robert Maxwell (who also penned “Shangri-La”), “Ebb Tide” spent four weeks stuck at #2 (behind “Rags To Riches”) for British conductor Chacksfield. In a year well-populated with best-selling instrumental hits, he also scored with the Charlie Chaplin melody “Terry’s Theme,” which is included in this collection as well.
