I really enjoyed making this video and I will do more like it in the future. Also sorry for the lack of polish and also the tardiness, I had kind of a wack week.

Lighting(Do a cool motion graphic please) is one of the most overlooked things in all of video games, as it creates and fills out the beautiful worlds our character travels through. It is essential in defining the atmosphere of a game, leading to the all-important immersion that makes an experience worthwhile. Once you start to notice lighting within video games you can’t take your eyes off of its cascading effect, but don’t look too long that's the sun. A wide variety of video games use lighting in a wide variety of ways and today I want to shine a light…(audience laughter) on a few of them. But I’ll save the topic of lights in video games for a lazier Jon, because today I want to look at why Isometric games consistently do lighting the best.
