Throughout southern Spain there are towns and villages, where almost every building is painted white. They are called Pueblos Blancos, or White Villages. It makes for some attractive scenes for those traveling through the region.

Arguably, the most beautiful of those villages is Mijas Pueblo. That's located just a few kilometers inland from the famed Costa del Sol. I spent a day in the town recently and visited everything from the unique bullring, to the church that was dug out of solid rock, to the stunning Calle San Sebastian.
