7 Years of Progression - Javelin Throw - Leevi Lindi

Here is a little compilation of all the throwing clips I have been saving for years. The first videos are all the way back from 2014, when my PB with the 700 g javelin was 39,46 m, the last clips being from last season when I threw my current PB of 69,95 m with the 800 g.

I have managed to keep up pretty solid progression throughout the years, so hopefully this might help someone to keep on trying even though at the moment you would be way behind your competition. After all, it all comes down to consistency and enjoying what you are doing. Most of the guys that threw 20–30 m further than me have already quit.

Get out there and do what you love.

Tässäpä pieni kooste meikäläisen heitoista vuosilta 2014-2020. Ennätys parani tuona aikana 39,46 metristä 700 g keihäällä 69,95 metriin 800 g keihäällä.

Tässäpä on hyvä esimerkki siitä, että aika paskasta heittäjästäkin voi tulla kohtalainen jos vaan malttia ja halua löytyy. Jos treenaaminen maistuu ja muiden tuloksia ei liikaa mieti, on vielä vähän vanhempanakin mahdollista kehittyä aika kivasti. Kehitys kyllä tulee aikanaan.
