Just a few minutes ago, Mihoyo announced the new characters that will be released in version 5.1. So in this video, let's talk about these characters, discuss the free rewards, and the Archon rerun in 5.1.

We have 1 character announcements and it is Xilonen, a 5-star Geo character who uses a sword. She will be the only support character in the first patches of Natlan. To put it in Razor's language, her kit can be described as a Geo Kazuha. She will most likely be released in the first phase of 5.1 since most characters are released in the first phase, except for Emilie.

The second character should've been Iansan, the girl who represented Natlan in the Teyvat trailer. Most characters from the trailer are released in the first patches of the new region, so this isn't a surprise.

lso, today we got confirmation of the 4-star characters in the first phase of 5.0. They are the same as those shown in the 5.0 special program: Bennett, Xinyan, and Kachina.

In addition, you can expect another Archon rerun in 5.1. There are two candidates: Zhongli and Nahida. Why not Venti? Because the next region is Snezhnaya, and we'll most likely travel there through Mondstadt. However, there's still no new map called Dormant Port, which connects Snezhnaya and Mondstadt. So, Venti will probably rerun in 5.5 when we get the new map in Mondstadt.

As for Zhongli, he has had the longest gap since his last rerun, and considering that Xilonen is also Geo, there's a good chance he'll be in the second half of 5.1. On the other hand, there's an old rumor that Zhongli will get a new skin, so he might rerun during the Lantern Rite in 5.4. If that's the case, then Nahida will be in 5.1, Furina in 5.2, Mavuika in 5.3, Zhongli in 5.4, and Venti in 5.5.

Right after 5.0 is released, we'll get a huge amount of info regarding 5.1, so I recommend waiting another week. The special program for 5.1 will be held on September 20th, so we'll have to wait until then to know for sure.
