Fulltime Vanlife - Geelong | You Yangs | Melbourne | Maribyrnong River

Starting off in Melbourne, I headed down to Lara, just outside Geelong with the intent of going for a bike ride. I ended up being too late to ride so headed over to Limeburners Bay for the sunset. A friend invited me over for dinner and of course I slept in his driveway.

As I filled my van with water and diesel, I decided to drop in to a public weigh bridge to see where my weight was at on the van. From there, it was time for a Mountain bike ride at the You Yangs MTB Park. My usual post ride activity is to go sit up at the Turntable Carpark and admire the view over the plains towards Melbourne CBD.

I got a notification that my router external antenna had been delivered to my sons place back up in Melbourne, so headed back up the highway and installed the antenna on my roof rack.

The following morning there was a rain forecast, but I decided to head out on the bike again anyway. This time I had a ride along the Maribyrnong River for a quick explore.

I then drove back over to Docklands and parked in a spot that is easily accessible to the free tram zone. Jumped on a tram and headed in to the city to have a look at the State Library, somewhere I've never been before.
