Vivekanandha College of Arts and Sciences for Women (Autonomous) was established and hailed into Women’s Educational Service in the Year 1995. The institutions are situated on either side of Tiruchengode-Namakkal Main Road at Elayampalayam, 6 kms away from Tiruchengode. This is biggest women’s college in India with more than 7500 girl students and more than 18 departments. The strength of the college was just 65 at the time of its establishment. Autonomous status is given to the college for its successful performance.

The library, a treasure trove of knowledge comprising 27,308 number of books of technical and non-technical assortment, 120 journals, 60 magazines and various CDs for curricular and extra-curricular quests, is functioning efficiently supplementing the students' quest for educate and enhance.

Hostel accommodation facilities with well furnished double and four occupancy rooms, Sprawling and Artistic layout, Hygienic Kitchen, Spacious Dining Halls, Indoor Courts for Shuttle & Table Tennis. Every student has access to a wide range of activities, facilities and support. VCEW with its beautiful landscape and carefully tended gardens provides an ideal environment for congenial learning experiences.

An exclusive canteen is available in the campus offering tasty and hygienic food. In order to cater to all the students from different parts of India and aboard, South Indian, North Indian and Chinese dishes are offered.

Vivekanandha college has a spacious and grand auditorium with a seating capacity of 5000 students. Many programmes, college culturals and festives, workshops are luxuriously conducted here.

Physical fitness has been given utmost importance. The college hostel facility is equipped with an air-conditioned gymnasium with state-of-the-art equipment especially for women.

The management operating a fleet of Buses, Vans, Numbering more than 200 for easy mobility of the students from different parts of the districts of 9 which includes Namakkal, Erode, Salem, Dharmapuri, Trichy, Karur, Dindigul, and Tirupur Districts.

A modernized hostel, where hygienic food, mineral water with varieties of north and south Indian dishes, is an added feature of the hostel providing a congenial and home atmosphere to carry out their academics with ease.
