Large Stirling Engine 4 - 560 rpm

The engine is now quieter, faster, and more powerful, although still not performing as hoped. I am able to pressurize it somewhat and it makes a big difference on power.On one of its best runs I was not able to stop it with both hands holding the 5/8" shaft. It seems to run comfortably at about 520 rpm with no load, although I've had it up to 615 rpm. I would expect to load it down until it stabilized at about 300 rpm.

Now I need to get away from the propane and run it on a pellet gasifier or rocket stove, and also get some power measurements. I'll have to build a bigger Prony brake for this one!

Lots of fun playing with this engine and imagining how useful it could be!
