The Razor is a 14 x 5 6.0mm 6 ply Maple shell. The Razor has the brighter characteristic that you would expect from a Maple shell with a pleasing ambiance and full note character. This drum is extremely versatile and perfect for a multitude of applications.

The Razor has Triple Flanged Hoops, staggered 1/8" offset locking B lugs and slightly different bearing edge profiles - the batter side is 45 degree, the snare side is 35 degree. The drum is finished in a Dark Grey solid lacquer, has chrome hardware and comes fitted with Remo USA Ambassador X Coated batter head and Ambassador Snare Side underside.

The Black Panther Cylinder drive snare mechanism is fitted which allows the snare wires to be incrementally tensioned from both ends of the wire.

Like all Black Panther series drums from recent years this snare comes with a Mapex Black Panther draw string bag which allows you to safely store the drum and protect the hardware and finish when not in use.
