Blimpo the Clown (remake)

Описание к видео Blimpo the Clown (remake)

The earliest version of this song is from 2004 or so. I later rediscovered my notes, and with some slight changes in the order of the chord changes, I noticed it somehow reminded me of They Might Be Giants.
So I decided to sing the vocal kind of like "Triangle Man" and "Courage the Cowardly Dog".
This is a new version I recorded in 2018, which much better vocals and mixing.

Lyrics:
There once was a very famous clown
Who could turn all your frowns upside down
But then one day he got terribly fat
And now there's nothing to laugh at

It didn't make him jolly or quaint
Like an uncle in rainbow facepaint
It made him look like a milk cow gone lame
And now they call him a new name

CHORUS
Blimpo the Clown is what they call him
Ever a harsh reminder of his sin
Stuffing his feelings with junk food and gin
Blimpo the Clown, Blimpo the Clown

And word spread all over each town
Of the fool who had become too round
Their stares did fill poor Blimpo with shame
And he swore to ne'er be a clown again

What became of him we do not know
He could have joined the sideshow
But maybe one day he'll be smiling again
Maybe one day he'll make a friend

CHORUS

There once was a very famous clown
Who turn all your frowns upside down
But then one day he got terribly fat
And that's nothing to sneeze at

CHORUS
