Pack with me for my trip to Yellowstone National Park!

My family and I planned a trip to visit Yellowstone and the surrounding areas for 1 full week. Our itinerary consisted of lots of sightseeing, hiking, river rafting, swimming, and just checking out the area!

Because I needed to pack both my own hiking backpack and my husbands (along with some other hiking gear), we decided to check our large suitcase along with bringing our carry on bags and 1 personal item each.

This is way more than I'm used to packing, so I definitely took advantage of the extra space.

One of the most difficult parts of packing for this trip was how many shoes I felt like I needed! I am super thankful that we checked a bag because decided on shoes was the hardest part for me. Fun fact, I ended up bringing my trailrunners and did not use my hiking boots a single time. I think trailrunners are perfectly fine for a day hike, and boots are only necessary for me if I'm doing an overnight backpacking trip. Also, I didn't wear that sweater a single time lol.
