Check Exact Oil Level on Older W203 Mercedes (C320)

How to get a detailed (down to 0.1L/qt) oil level reading on an older (early 2000s) Mercedes W203

Newer W203's you triple press the trip reset button which wasn't working on my 2003 (2001 built) C320, so I looked through the manual to find this and thought I'd share. Try holding the trip meter reset button for 20 seconds until you hear an audible beep. Then hit the page down button on the steering wheel, and turn the key to the next position. The car needs to be on level ground (gas stations are good for this). If you have just been driving let the car sit for a couple minutes before checking the level as it will read low (and you wouldn't want to overfill the oil). You can also enable dyno mode in here to disable ESP etc, hit the up button, and volume to enable/disable.
