I found the process really hard to manage especially balancing it with med school finals and exams so hopefully this video helps some of you guys out. MY APPLICATION LETTER

Dear Sir or Madam,

My name is Taha Butt and I am a 4th-year medical student studying at Newcastle Medical School. I am writing to you to apply for a 4-week elective placement at 108 Military Central Hospital from 1st July 2022 to 29th July 2022. My colleagues and I, who are all medical students, are also wanting to apply. I wanted to ask how many medical students you would be willing to accept from the UK?

About myself:
I will be finishing my fourth year of medicine at Newcastle Medical School with 2 years experience of regular hospital placements. I am confident when taking focussed histories and examinations on patients and forming relevant differential diagnoses. To add, I have developed a range of clinical skills such as taking blood and I would be over delighted to have the opportunity to expand upon these skills at your renowned hospital.

My interest in Vietnam:
Vietnam is a country I have never visited however is a place I have heard so many amazing things about. It would be a dream come true to stay in Hanoi Vietnam and immerse myself in its culture - this would be a truly astonishing experience. As someone who has travelled to other countries, I understand the importance of respecting the laws and customs.

Could you please kindly let me know if places would be available for myself and any of my colleagues to undertake the 4-week elective placement from this summer 2022? I also wanted to ask if there were any fees in order to book the 4-week placement elective with 108 Military Central Hospital Hospital? I have also attached a letter of recommendation from my Medical School Programme Director.
