Next week, they had a rematch. Cody kicked him in the face and hit him with the Cross Rhodes to retain the title. A week later, Randy Orton faced DiBiase. Randy dodged Ted and hit him with the RKO to win the match and Cody was disappointed. Cody helped Ted get up and then caught him to hit him with the Cross Rhodes, then Cody put a bag over his face. Two weeks later, Cody faced Randy. Randy dodged Cody and hit him with the RKO to win the match. On Raw, they had a rematch. Mark Henry distracted Randy, Cody hit him with the mask and then with the Cross Rhodes to win the match. On Smackdown, Cody got ambushed and it was Ted, who then attacked him outside and inside of the ring and hit him with the Dream Street. At Night of Champions, Cody and Ted met for the title. Ted took off Cody’s mask, Cody dodged him and rolled him up to retain the title.
