सरकार की नजर खाने के तेलों की कीमतों पर है. अंतरराष्ट्रीय बाजार में एडिबल ऑयल के नीचे आ रहे दामों को लेकर सरकार सतर्क है और इसका फायदा देश के कंज्यूमर्स को दिलाने के लिए कदम उठा रही है. 4 मई को इसी बारे में डिपार्टमेंट ऑफ फूड एंड पब्लिक डिस्ट्रीब्यूशन के सेक्रेट्रेरी संजीव चोपड़ा ने एडिबल ऑयल इंडस्ट्री के प्रमुख प्रतिनिधित्वों के साथ बैठक के दौरान कहा कि ग्लोबल खाने के तेल की कीमतों में आ रही गिरावट का फायदा तुरंत ग्राहकों को दिया जाना चाहिए.
