Welcome to my channel,

So in this video we will discuss about the Railway Engineering with the practical.i explain you WHY India and Nepal used flat footed rail except of double headed rail and bull headed rail.

I explain you more deeply WHY flat footed rail are used.

flat footed rail are generally made from high alloy steel which have More strength and it can resit heavy vertical and transvere load acting on the rail.

FLAT FOOTED RAIL are generally there main parts that is: head,web and foot which is just placed over the sleeper.

FLAT FOOTED RAIL are more strength and stiffness then of bull headed rail.

FLAT FOOTED RAIL doesn't require any chairs bar and key so that flat footed rail are used but in the double headed rail chairs bar and key required for alingment of the rail.

The self weight per meter length of flat footed rail are 60kg.

And for broad gauge the standard length of flat footed rail are 12.8 meter.

and the speed of the train to allow 96km/hr to 120km/hr so this is the basic idea about the broad gauge with flat footed rail.
