Combining 3D Models - Part 19 - Aspire and VCarve For Absolute Beginners

This is the 19th in a series of videos geared toward the person who has never worked with CAD or CAM in the Vectric Software before.

In this video, I’ll continue the journey into 3D carving in Vectric Software. We’ll get into the Clipart that comes with the Vectric software when you purchase it, and import 2 models into the project.

From there we’ll get into the Modeling Tab and convert a dome to a dish, add a Zero Plane to the list of components, then I’ll mix things up a bit. We’ll create a vector around the model, offset it to give us an outside profile – THEN, just to make things interesting, we’ll add some text, and wrap it around a curve before calculate toolpaths and preview the project.

We’re making a big leap from just the basics in my last video, to what is actually a fairly advanced project that combines several techniques.
