North Fork Payette - 8,000 9,000 CFS?

Описание к видео North Fork Payette - 8,000 9,000 CFS?

In the Spring of 2010 Idaho had a fairly normal snowpack that was late to melt...All of the sudden out of left field comes some warm June rains...combine that with some poor predictions from the reservoir and dam operators, and Boom! You got yourself the highest ever recorded descents of the North Fork of the Payette River!

There was some discrepancies about how much water was actually in the river, but since then I have been to the N.F.P. at 5,000-6,000 and these 2 days in June 2010 were substantially higher than that. Honestly, the river is really dangerous but in my mind a little easier at high flows over 5,000 cfs. 3500-High 4's seems more sticky and less open. Always keep your head on a swivel out there as it changes a lot and comes at you really fast.

Grateful to have been talked into driving to Idaho to enjoy this high-water harvest! Thanks Cheese!
