“Catnap is a three piece all girl rock band from Orlando Florida. The trio met and began playing music in high school. Over the years they became closer friends and dialed in their sound to become the absolute powerhouse they are today. After a few years taking it slow and releasing one EP (“Talk” 2023), Catnap is now extremely active in the local music scene and has made big strides quickly solidifying them as a band to 'watch out for'.

This bands sound is strictly unique, a much-needed refresh of creative emo music. Front woman Nina who hosts GirlMaxing on 91.5 WPRK brings a variety of influences to the table with her deeply thoughtful lyrics and emotive guitar riffs. Catnaps drummer Angie and bassist Julia are exceptionally fun to watch with their creative fills and parts that drive the song forward.
