el río Magdalena parecía un cementerio
y el camino al infierno.

Cual Caronte en la barca
la muerte se paseaba,
enumerando en larga lista
las voces silenciadas.

Viajeros sin nombre,
los muertos del agua,
navegantes sin rostro.
