Nashville - I Lived [4x20]

I don't know what will happen next week, so I'm staying in my happy place where the journey matters more than the destination. I know Nashville has changed many lives, some more than others, but it all makes a difference. I'm not sure how it has changed mine. I mean it must have, I have never vidded anything else even close to this much. My taste in music has improoved, that much I can say.

Over the years I've come to the conclusion that there's a little bit of both, Deacon and Rayna, in me. Deacon is who I'm on the inside and Rayna is who I appear on the outside. The Rayna part is what I strive for but never quite achieve because it's not meant to be that way. And maybe it has been interesting to follow this relationship's progress for those reasons, and maybe it has taught me something about myself. In a few years I'll probably find out.

I relate to many aspects in many of these characters. Will comes in third after Rayna and Deacon. We've seen them overcome many difficulties simply by living, and making their choices. Some of them have trouble with choices because the feelings run so deep. That has also fascinated me, what part of life is a choice and what is "inevitable" as Rayna put it. I'm pretty sure I will never stop wondering about that.
