コロナ禍にあって、「癒し」や「祈り」が求められる昨今、多くの作曲家が「癒し」「祈り」を込めて書き上げた「アヴェ・マリア」の聞き比べ、そして映画音楽やクリスマスにちなんだ名曲が取り上げられる。人気のソプラノ砂川涼子と名手、河原忠之のピアノによる掛け合いも聴きどころのひとつ。

Nowadays, healing and hope are needed amidst the coronavirus pandemic. Comparative listening of versions of Ave Maria written by many different composers with that same healing and hope, as well as Christmas-related movie soundtracks and famous songs, were featured. One highlight was the duet between popular soprano Ryoko Sunakawa and Tadayuki Kawahara on piano.

可憐な舞台姿と聴くものの心を震わせる歌声で高い人気を誇るソプラノ歌手。新国立劇場をはじめ数々のオペラ公演に出演、オーケストラとの共演、リサイタルでも好評を博している。
A soprano singer who is very popular for her lovely stage presence and singing voice that makes the heart quiver upon listening. She has appeared in numerous opera performances, including at the New National Theatre Tokyo, and performed alongside orchestras and has been well-received for her recitals.

河原 忠之(ピアノ)Tadayuki Kawahara (Piano)
日本を代表する歌手が共演者に挙って指名する人気ピアニスト。幅広い音色と繊細な表現には定評がある。「太メン」男声オペラ歌手4人とのユニットIL DEVUのピアノ･メンバー。
A popular pianist called on by exemplary Japanese singers to be their costar. He is reputable for his wide range of tone and delicate expression. Pianist member of “heavyweight” unit Il Devu with four male opera singers.
