Miami outgained Cal 278-26 in the fourth quarter and outscored the Bears 21-3 in the final quarter. Cam Ward was 35-53 passing the ball for 437 yards and two passing touchdowns, with a 24-yard rushing touchdown as well. Miami wide receiver Xavier Restrepo caught 7 passes for 163 yards, including a 77-yard reception on Miami's final drive. For Cal, quarterback Fernando Mendoza was 11-22 for 285 yards and two touchdowns. Running back Jaydn Ott had 77 all-purpose yards and two total touchdowns.
