If you haven't heard from your lawyer for an extended period, such as two months, you should attempt multiple ways to contact them, including calling, emailing, and visiting their office.

In case your lawyer is unresponsive and no one from their office is returning your calls, consider contacting the ethics board to check if there are any issues like the lawyer losing their license or passing away. Before escalating to the bar association or ethics board, make every effort to reach out to the lawyer directly and express the urgency of your situation.
