Trail riding in the Peak District with Spike and Nick

Описание к видео Trail riding in the Peak District with Spike and Nick

Two friends from Cambridgeshire visited for a day riding the lanes. It was a great day, with over 90 miles ridden. In the earlier part of the ride, the Tenere and I weren't flowing, but some suspension twiddling helped with the confidence. My apologies for the water on the camera lens towards the end - cheers to Nick for capturing so much of the fun and helping make me look like a nobber :).

A .gpx is available here - let me know how you get on.

Let me know if it works as this is the first time I have tried to share a track. Clearly this route includes green lanes - please check that the lanes included in this route are open and legal to ride when you intend to ride. Some lanes included in this route are NOT open to 4x4 users.

Route: Starting at Flash Bar Stores this route will take you out to Macclesfield Forest, back to Buxton via Cumberland Cottage (BUT NOT Three Shires Head) down the Old Coach Road into Buxton and out North East via some easy and technical lanes through to Castleton/Hope via Dirtlow Rake and Pindale. Then onwards to Houndkirk Road with stunning views of Sheffield via Brough Lane, and Hurstclough Lanes and back to Flash Bar Stores via a classic Derbyshire and Staffordshire lanes in the Grindleford, Foolow, Tideswell, Miller's Dale and Hollingsclough area.
