This is a pretty detailed video of installing the Tier 1 Tuner on an Indian Scout. It is not the easiest job but seeing this video may save you a lot of time getting past unknowns. This tuner is amazing. I have been running test and it increases power tremendously. It gathers new data every time the crank goes around and then writes a new tune for the engine. It is the only true auto tune computer. Because of this you can add new equipment to your bike and the tuner instantly adjusts for it and maximizes the efficiency and power of the engine.
