In the year of our Lord 1410, king Mihalis III Katepanid of Italy has been crowned the emperor of Mesembria (Noon) after destroying the Ottoman Sultanate and his pretender cousin in Sicily.

But his ambitions have not yet been fulfilled. Chained by Genoa, the empire must break out of her bondage and become the true hegemon of the Mediterranean Sea and beyond.

Will Mesembria and the Katepanids succeed, or will they be remembered as just yet another claimant of the Eastern Roman Empire?
