Northern Thailand's Only Seaside Town (Sort Of)

Welcome back to my channel! Today, I'm back in Phayao, Thailand, one of my favorite towns in the country. I first visited Phayao two years ago, and I was immediately struck by its beauty and charm. The town is nestled in the mountains of northern Thailand, and it's surrounded by lush green forests and rolling hills.

One of the things I love most about Phayao is its lake, Kwan Phayao. The lake is huge, and it's a popular spot for swimming, fishing, and boating. When I first visited Phayao, the lake was very low, but this time it was full to the brim. It was amazing to see how much the town had changed in just two years. Phayao has that beach town feel to it and I really get seaside coastal vibes from this place. As you know, Northern Thailand doesn't have any coast line or beaches but I think Phayao is the closest thing. It's a great option for expats or retirees in Thailand who like the North but want the coast also.

Phayao is a great place to relax and unwind. The people are friendly and welcoming, and the pace of life is slow and relaxed. If you're looking for a place to escape the hustle and bustle of city life, Phayao is the perfect destination.
