Fundraisers will raise money to restore The Outsiders House. The Outsiders is a 1983 film based on the book by Tulsa author S.E. Hinton. Most people driving by may not know the home helped kick-start the careers of actors Tom Cruise, Rob Lowe, Patrick Swayze, Matt Dillon and more. Danny Boy O’Connor from House of Pain bought the Curtis Brothers house, used in the filming of the 1983 film “The Outsiders.”
