Ok, so this mic configuration still shows a lot of my breathing sounds when the environment is quieter. One of my next videos will be seeing if taping cardboard over the backside of the mic will help the problem. My previous camera wasn't nearly this tall, so I never really had the problem.

There's also another mic that is a pain to set up every time, where it's below the camera instead of above, but it has a bunch of clanging sounds from its shock mount system, so I've been trying to see if using this small one that goes on top of the camera will work with some tinkering. It certainly works when there's a lot of noise, like at the fair, but this video showed me that I need more backside suppression.
