I am in Mumbai and I'm going to explore a lot of authentic Indian street foods in the Colaba area of Mumbai at iconic places.
A special thank you to my dear friends Prahbat Chalmeti, Ashima Chugh and Anmol who accompanied me on this trip to introduce and find the best Indian street food.
And here are all the food I tasted on my trip:

Bhel Puri and Sev Puri: These are two of the most famous street snacks in Mumbai. Bhel Puri is a combination of puffed rice, vegetables, raw onions and diced tomatoes, spicy and sweet sauce, and has a crunchy texture and is very delicious.
Sev Puri, on the other hand, is based on puri (a type of bread) topped with cooked potatoes, raw onions, tomatoes, vegetables, green chutney, and red chutney, garnished with fresh lime. It's truly amazing

Mutton Dabba Gosht & Bheja Fry at Bagdadi restaurant:
Bagdadi restaurant in Mumbai is known for its delicious North Indian cuisine, and some of its most famous dishes include the Bheja Fry and the Mutton Dabba Gosht. The first one is made from mutton brain and spices and is served with Khameeri Roti bread, while the other one is a creamy and tender mutton dish that is only available on Sundays. Both dishes have unique textures, flavors, and spices that make them a must-try for anyone visiting the restaurant. Whether you prefer spicy or creamy, the Bagdadi restaurant has something for everyone to enjoy.

Beer at Leopold Cafe & Bar:
Leopold Cafe, an iconic restaurant and bar in Colaba Causeway, Mumbai, has been around since 1871. Despite facing a terrorist attack in 2008, the restaurant still holds a unique charm, with interesting pictures hanging on the walls with a cozy atmosphere. Managed by Farzad, who has Iranian roots, the place is always bustling with customers. If you're looking for a place to grab some beer and soak in Mumbai's vibe, Leopold Cafe is the place to go.

Vada Pav and Ulta Pav veggie burgers:
Vada Pav and Ulta Pav are vegetarian Indian burgers from Mumbai. They both have potato filling with green and red chutney, garlic, and pepper, sandwiched between pav bread. Ulta Pav is cut into four pieces and filled with the same ingredients as Vada Pav, but with the addition of having the bread flipped upside down. These Indian burgers are found all around Mumbai and are very delicious and spicy.

Exciting Indian Fruit Platter:
In Mumbai, a handcart loaded with an exciting mix of fruits like watermelon, papaya, and pineapple, all peeled and cut with care, and then sprinkled with masala to create a sweet and sour taste sensation, is a must-try. This delightful plate of fruit is perfect for enjoying on a hot summer day in a wonderful atmosphere.

Frankie Egg Rolls Street Food in Mumbai:
Frankie Mumbai is a famous and delicious egg roll street food in Mumbai, India. The egg is mixed with masala, salt, chili powder, and green chili and cooked on bread, with onion, ketchup, fresh lemon, and more masala added when ready. This tasty combination makes for an extraordinary flavor that you should taste when visiting Mumbai.

Chicken Kebab Pav:
Chicken kebab pav is a delicious street food in Mumbai, Maharashtra. The chicken kebabs are fried in a pan of oil, with an amazing sizzling sound. The pav bread is filled with chicken kebabs, chutney, and cabbage, making a spicy and flavorful snack. This unique dish is a masterpiece of taste and an extraordinary experience.

Pav Bhaji & Gulab Jamun Famous Street Food:

It is a delightful combination that is enjoyed by many. Similarly, gulab jamun, a sweet dessert made of fried dough balls soaked in syrup, is a an absolute must! Schezwan Frankie Rolls & Amazing Veggie Snack:
A street food vendor across the CSMT station in Mumbai offers delicious Schezwan Frankie noodle rolls and Veggie snacks. They spread mayonnaise, ketchup sauce, and spices on bread, add mashed potatoes, cabbage, and onions, and top it with cheese. The roll is then grilled and served with more butter, chutney, and cheese. Another dish features a toasted bread filled with spicy mashed potatoes, green chutney, onions, cheese, and tomatoes grilled over charcoal fire. Both dishes are spicy and delicious.
