At Earl Hill Studios we have been busy restoring and repurposing a beautiful piece of FNQ timber burl, it was a wedding gift to the owners so needed a bit of TLC, they also wanted to bring this piece inside as a coffee table after spending many years in the backyard. Serving as a bar table top. The owner seemed to think it was Mango, however me thinks Red Cedar!! In any case it was a big tree!! I used a resin fill to seal up every nook and cranny, the burl just drank it! to see website and other platforms #earlhillstudios
