This is skimmer vacuum barge measuring 95' by 30" equipped with two large vacuum pumps, four large vacuum tanks (12000 gallons total), hull holding tanks, and transfer valves and piping. The vacuum pumps, valves, generator, and pumps are operational.

A portable air compressor can powers the pumps and blows liquid from the vacuum tanks to an external tank barge. This process is such that worn pumps can continuously pump liquids from the bottom of the vacuum tanks to the barges holding tank or to an external tank barge or shore facility. The system can be also run with a portable boiler or the existing on board boiler might be rebuildable.

The barge was dry docked and the hull painted within the past two years. This barge is mobile, has large pumping capacity and can be quickly outfitted with hoses to pump continuously from a boom skimmer to tank barges. The large vacuum capacity could extract oil from marshes and other uneven surfaces much more effectively than a smaller capacity vacuum truck which is now the industry standard.
