The Most BIZARRE Observation Plane EVER? Boeing YL-15 Scout

Greetings everyone! Today we are featuring a real oddity on the channel, and what is perhaps The Most BIZARRE Observation Plane EVER - The Boeing YL-15 Scout!

This Scratch-Built Masterpiece was made by Master Modeler Ken Blasius and comes in with a 120 inch wingspan, powered by a Rimfire 80 sized motor, Castle Creations 120A ESC, and is flying on 12s battery power. The propeller is a Xoar 20x10. This model flew amazingly well, and was much more stable than it's ungainly appearance would suggest!

This video was shot at the SoCal Scale Squadron's annual Warbirds and Classics model event held in Blackstar Canyon at the Orange County Modeler's Association club field on 03-04 June, 2022.
