Hi friends,
Hope all of you are doing good. Thanks to all of you who are supporting me in this channel, all friends, subscribers and well wishers. Thanks to all who have subscribed recently to my channel too.
Please don't mind this being a long story for this song.
I grew up very much listening to Raja sir songs and the round tone of the bass attracted most of us, but when ARR came, there also came a different sound of Bass too, at least for me. I just couldn't understand the style of slap on the bass.
As most of you know Bass Mani, I first met him in Singapore in 1999-2000, and was amazed at how easily and fluently he played the slap style on his Bass. He was very helpful and taught me a like bar to bar of this song, which I could hardly understand, I was like, OMG how to learn this style, it was very new to me.
I kept trying trying, but it is still out of my genre. But whatever I have tried in this song which is so special for the Bass, all thanks to Bass Mani for influencing me.
Now to this song, Keith Peters, what a player, who plays everything, all styles as much as necessary, in this song, there is finger style as well as Slap, especially the 3rd BGM or interlude, its too awesome and wonder how he plays with such a growling tone even while playing the slap. Hats of to you sir, I'm in now way near anything that you played, just a attempt, please forgive me for doing this.
