Several protesters clashed with the police. The Police had barricaded the area. People were seen moving over the barricades. This comes after a man opened fire at protesters earlier in the day. The attacker, identified as Gopal, was seen brandishing a gun and injured a student. Police detained the attacker. Meanwhile, activist Yogendra Yadav was detained by the police near Delhi Gate area where people had formed a human chain.
