LUCA MAURO

Luca Mauro emerged as a DJ in the vibrant early 90s, carving out a niche in Italy's dynamic club scene. At that time, he held residencies at several of Italy's premier venues such as Kinky, Echos, Peter Pan, Cocorico’, and Link.

Known for his impressive technique and his ability to captivate audiences with his tastefully curated selections, Luca Mauro quickly became a fascinating figure in the music world.

He was the founder of Main Street Records, a record store that was established in Bologna, Italy, in collaboration with the DJ and producer LTJ Xperience, under the aegis of Irma Records.

As a producer for renowned labels such as Justified Cause Recorthings and Solo Records, Luca Mauro brings a warm soul to his DJ sessions, blending electronic sounds with influences from Black music, soul jazz, Italo disco, and always with a nod to the soulful roots of Motown from Detroit, drawing inspiration from both Chicago and Detroit's rich musical heritage.

Currently, Luca Mauro is an integral part of the Move On UP Collective, a Barcelona-based group of House Music Party Makers. This collective is not only a testament to his enduring presence in the underground music industry but also reflects his dedication to fostering a community through the universal language of house music.
