The Department of Forest & Wildlife, UT Chandigarh, has established the Chandigarh Bird Park behind Sukhna Lake, in 📍 Nagar Van. This park aims to raise awareness about bird conservation, focusing particularly on educating young minds about nature and its preservation. The park was inaugurated by the Hon’ble First Lady of India, Smt. Savita Kovind, on November 16, 2021. It is home to a variety of exotic bird species commonly bred in India.

The park features a diverse collection of exotic birds, including aquatic, terrestrial, and tamed species. A major highlight is the Tamed Bird Section, known as Winged Wonders, where visitors can interact closely with the birds.

Each bird enclosure is designed to mimic the birds' natural habitats, allowing visitors to observe them up close. Informative display charts next to each enclosure provide details about the respective birds, making the experience both educational and enjoyable.

At the park's exit, a cafeteria offers a range of snacks and drinks, providing a comfortable spot to relax.

👉 Indian Children: ₹30 per child
👉 Foreign Adults: ₹100 per person
👉 Tamed Bird Section (Indian Adults/Children): ₹100
👉 Payment: Only online payments are accepted. Cash payments are not accepted.
